Emily & Pip – Hilles House
Emily & Pip – Hilles House
10th August, 2019
Can’t quite get over this wedding. So Emily actually walked down the aisle to Pip three times in total. First was a small ceremony in the morning with immediate family where the pair become Husband and Wife.
At the end every person in the room hugged each other and I genuinely had to hold back tears. The second time wasn’t actually planned, but it worked out so well! Em & Pip you’re actually saints for being so chilled! The storm on the day was insane, Pip actually loves storms so it worked out well in fairness haha!
Emily headed upstairs to get changed into her wedding dress. Their guests started turning up at 1pm for the big ceremony at 2pm in the Yurt, unfortunately the winds were so strong that it delayed the second ceremony by a few hours.
In the mean time everyone got together to pull it out the bag! Their guests made a big aisle in the house and Emily once again walked down with her dad towards Pip which was just as emotional as the first time.
Whilst we waited until it was safe to go into the Yurt, guests literally danced in the rain and had the best time. The day’s schedule literally didn’t matter anymore!
The third time Emily & her dad danced down the aisle was when we finally got to go into the beautiful Yurt. This was incredible. Guests were giving the most heartfelt readings in all different languages, the rings were passed around each guest before returning to the couple, people were singing, holding hands, and they even danced back down the aisle together.
Just want to say how privileged I felt to be a part of your day, Emily & Pip. I’ve never seen anything like it especially the handfasting and I definitely won’t forget it! You’re both amazing!
Please feel free to share and tag yourselves but please do not re-edit any images! Thank you 🙂
