Sarah & Michael’s Wedding at St Donat’s Castle, Llantwit Major.

Sarah & Michael got married on the 1st of September this year at St Donat’s Castle in LLantwit Major. I know Sarah from school / cheerleading and so it was a privilege to have photographed the couples special day and it was lovely as I hadn’t seen some of the bridesmaids for years! The day started at The Penny Farthing in Cowbridge where Sarah, her parents and bridesmaids were getting ready while Mike and his groomsmen were just over the road at The Bear Hotel which was ideal. Just before leaving, Sarah wanted a dress reveal not only to her Father but also her Bridesmaids – both were so emotional (her dad blamed it on his hay fever all day) haha.

We then headed to St Donat’s Castle which is absolutely breath-taking with it’s stunning grounds and beach. And to top it off the weather was amazing!

Just before the ceremony, Sarah’s dad handed her a note written by Mike expressing how much he loves her – which was clear to see all day especially during the speeches where he not only gave an honest and heart warming speech but he even sang to her! After the speeches we walked through St Donat’s beautiful grounds and then headed down to the beach for their couple portraits.
